A New Year’s message from the Head of the Yeolyan Hematology and Oncology Center
Pediatric Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Armenia shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Dear Compatriots,
Esteemed Colleagues,
As we conclude the year, I am proud to note that thanks to teamwork, the Yeolyan Hematology and Oncology Center has successfully achieved its 2024 goals and has honorably overcome all challenges.
By consistently keeping up with advancements in the field, the Center’s specialists have regularly participated in training sessions, international conferences, and events to localize the best practices from around the world.
As a result, the treatment process for patients at the Yeolyan Center has become more efficient.
One of the most significant achievements of the year was performing the first-ever allogeneic bone marrow transplantation for an adult in Armenia.
This means that from now on, our citizens will no longer need to leave the country for this treatment.
Soon, the construction of the new building for the Blood Bank, a project of strategic importance for our country, will be completed.
I want to highlight the crucial role of donors in establishing the Blood Bank. Their regular, voluntary blood donations, driven by a strong sense of social responsibility, have been invaluable.
As we look ahead to the coming year, I must emphasize that we have high expectations and ambitious goals for 2025. To achieve them, the joint efforts and collaboration of the ‘Yeolyan Hematology and Oncology Center’ team will be of utmost importance.
Together, we will strive to become an even more accessible, well-equipped, and advanced medical center.
Dear Compatriots,
I extend my warmest greetings to you all for the upcoming New Year and Christmas.
I wish us all peace, good health, and carefree lives. May love and joy reign in our families from now on.
Stay healthy!
Happy New Year and Merry Christmas!
Hayk Grigoryan
Head of the Yeolyan Hematology and Oncology Center.”
