Raffaella Casolino is a Technical Officer in the Department of Noncommunicable Diseases, Rehabilitation, and Disability at WHO in Geneva, Switzerland. She is an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Glasgow, School of Cancer Sciences, and a member of the ICGC Clinical-Metadata Working Group.

Dr. Casolino chairs The Lancet Oncology Commission on “Cancer Genomics – Precision Oncology.” A medical oncologist, she specializes in pancreatic and biliary cancers, translational cancer genomics, precision oncology, and health policy.
