Michael Hoyt MD, MPH, is a professor in the Department of Population Health and Disease Prevention, specializing in biobehavioral research on cancer survivorship. He serves as Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Behavioral Medicine and President-Elect of the International Society of Behavioral Medicine.

Dr. Hoyt is also the director of the UCI Institute for Interdisciplinary Salivary Bioscience Research and the Biobehavioral Shared Resource at the Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center.
