We spoke to Ashwin S. and Arie Parnham about ‘Changing the management of Lymph Node-positive Penile Cancer’ and the work that lead to the updated 2023 European Association of Urology-American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) penile cancer guidelines.

We discussed how they systematically reviewed evidence of the clinical effectiveness of a series of approaches for the management of LN-positive penile cancer.

The international team led by researchers at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust and The University of Manchester examined more than 3000 abstracts involving more than 100 studies to identify ways to improve survival in this rare cancer.
