“Best of ASCO Memphis.
This weekend, we had the honor of bringing this meeting for the 3rd year to Memphis, welcoming just about 135 learners!
Partnering with the West Cancer Foundation for their annual West Fight On event, we kicked off Day 1 a bit later in the day, but the energy was palpable from the start. Thank you to Sami (Papacek) Mansfield for being a Total Health | Oncology coach in AND out of the meeting room this weekend!
Some of the most impactful moments of this meeting was the focus on the persistent challenges faced by Black, Brown, and poor communities in accessing quality cancer care. The conversations were real, raw, and necessary—exactly what we need to push for equitable healthcare across all populations. These are not just statistics; they represent real lives, and our speakers drove home the need for change with passion and expertise.
I’m deeply grateful for the incredible presentations and discussions. We’re here to educate and advocate for healthcare teams so that they can make a tangible impact on Monday morning when they walk back into clinics and hospitals. Thank you Karen Winkfield, and Brad Somer for your leadership. Thank you to Shalini Parekh, ANA ELISA CUESTA FERNANDEZ, Wade Iams, Gina Vaccaro, Tennessee Oncology, Nabil Saba, Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University, Jeff Harris West Cancer Center and Research Institute, Bhagirathbhai Dholaria, VANDERBILT-INGRAM CANCER CENTER AT GREEN HILLS, Ruchika Talwar, Jonathan Abbas, Kent Shih, Manali Patel Stanford Cancer Institute, SHAINA ROZELL, Doretha Burrell, Saurin Chokshi, University of Tennessee, Clesha Stepter, Lee Schwartzberg, Renown Health.
Thank you to everyone who joined us. We’re proud to partner with organizations that share our vision of accessible, high-quality oncology education for all. Special support by Pfizer, Incyte, Gilead Oncology and to every rep who spent their weekend educating!
My team Reyna Wilhelm, Madison Prillaman, Kristen Echevarria.”
