Marleen Kok, Breast Medical Oncologist at the Netherlands Cancer Institute, shared on X:

Today from the Journal of Clinical Oncology:

Sometimes treating TNBC can be challenging. Nowadays, academic clinical residents to improve treatment for TNBC can also be challenging.

How do we get from one-size-fits-all with 4 types of chemo plus 1 year of pembro to a personalized treatment?

In the paper we describe the most important hurdles and provide ideas for solutions and the role of stakeholders such as pharma, regulatory bodies, government and guideline committees to work together towards more personalized treatments for our patients.

Many thanks to stellar team of authors Sara Tolaney, E Mittendorf, Antonio Wolff, Giuseppe Curigliano, Sherene Loi, Michail Ignatiadis, Tim Robinson and many other key experts.”
