The Blood Cancer United Translational Research Program (TRP) 2026–2027 supports innovative research with a clear pathway toward near-term clinical application in blood cancers.
Investigators may request up to $750,000 over three years for projects advancing new treatments, precision medicine strategies, immunotherapies, transplantation approaches, or other clinically translatable research in hematologic malignancies and related premalignant conditions.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be independent investigators.
- Eligible applicants may hold a PhD, MD, DVM, or equivalent degree.
- Applicants must be affiliated with a nonprofit institution.
- Researchers at institutions worldwide may apply.
- Predoctoral and postdoctoral researchers are not eligible to serve as PI.
- Up to two Co-PIs may be included.
- Cellular and immunotherapy projects are strongly encouraged to include in vivo proof of concept.
- Early discovery-stage projects are generally better suited to the Blood Cancer United Discovery Grant Program.

- Maximum annual budget: $250,000.
