The Scientific Foundation of the Spanish Association Against Cancer offers the Prácticas de Laboratorio Verano AECC 2027 program for science and health sciences students seeking practical experience in cancer research. Participants join a research laboratory in Spain, gaining exposure to biomedical research and exploring a potential scientific career. Applicants must secure a host laboratory before applying.
Eligibility Criteria
- Enrolled at a university in Spain, with enrollment remaining active throughout the placement.
- Completed at least 50% of undergraduate degree credits.
- Minimum academic average of 7/10.
- Acceptance from an eligible cancer research laboratory in Spain.

Funding Details
- Stipend: €1,200 gross, paid in two €600 installments.
- Duration: 240 hours during June 1–July 31, 2027.
- Additional support: Up to €1,000 for accommodation or €300 for travel, subject to eligibility and approval.
