The AACR Global Scholar-in-Training Awards (AACR GSITA) support eligible early-career cancer researchers conducting research in countries that are strengthening their cancer research capacity.
The awards provide recipients with comprehensive support to attend the AACR Annual Meeting 2027, participate in scientific and professional activities, and connect with leading cancer researchers from around the world.
Eligible applicants from Africa are also automatically considered for the AACR-Amgen Global Scholar-in-Training Award (AACR-Amgen GSITA), which additionally supports participation in the AORTIC International Conference. Together, the programs aim to strengthen cancer research capacity, scientific exchange, professional development, leadership, and international collaboration.
