The Ceira Boyle Student Nursing ONS Congress Scholarship 2027, offered by the Oncology Nursing Foundation, helps nursing students interested in oncology attend ONS Congress in Washington, DC.
The scholarship supports learning and professional networking, with preference given to students living within 30 miles of the conference location. Students outside this area are also encouraged to apply.
Eligibility and Selection Criteria
- Be a junior- or senior-year BSN student.
- Demonstrate interest in an oncology nursing career.
- Commit to attending the entire Congress.
- Agree to complete a three-question post-conference report.
- Explain the motivation for becoming an oncology nurse.
- Identify a characteristic of an exemplary cancer nurse.
- Describe a Congress session or event of interest and why.
Funding Details
- Support: Congress registration.
- Reimbursement: Meals and transportation during the conference.
- Accommodation: May be considered for recipients outside the 30-mile radius.
- Indicative maximum: ONS lists support of up to $2,000.

- Application deadline: December 1, 2026.
- Notification: By the end of February 2027.
