Oncomine Clinical Research Grant Program
The Oncomine Clinical Research Grant Program, offered by Thermo Fisher Scientific, supports investigator-initiated studies (IIS) and educational projects focused on molecular profiling in oncology. The goal is to advance high-quality research in precision oncology and broaden access to molecular diagnostics globally. Proposals are reviewed by internationally recognized external experts in collaboration with Thermo Fisher’s medical and scientific leadership. Awards are based strictly on scientific merit.
Eligibility Criteria
- Open to researchers proposing oncology-related projects involving molecular profiling
- Proposals must be submitted in English and must detail all activities to be completed within 12 months
- A budget is required, with a maximum request of 200,000 USD
- Funding is provided in accordance with local legislation
- Open to global applicants affiliated with a recognized institution or organization
Funding Details
- Amount: Up to 200,000 USD per project
- Duration: Up to 12 months
- Use of Funds: Budget must outline the use of requested funds for research-related activities
- Note: Final report submission is required upon project completion

- Submission Period: April 1 – May 2, 2025
- Decision Notification: 6 to 8 weeks after submission period ends
