The Oncology Nursing Foundation Doctoral Scholarships 2027 support registered nurses committed to oncology who are pursuing a research doctorate (PhD) or clinical doctorate (DNP). Each scholarship provides $7,500 toward eligible educational expenses for the 2027–2028 academic year.
Supported by the Oncology Nursing Foundation, Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation and Ann Olson Scholarship Fund, the programme helps nurses advance their education and contributions to cancer care.
Eligibility Criteria
- Be a registered nurse.
- Demonstrate commitment to oncology nursing.
- Be enrolled in, accepted to, or have applied to an accredited nursing PhD or DNP programme for 2027–2028.
- Maintain good academic standing.
- Provide a signed reference from a work supervisor or academic adviser.
- Agree to a post-graduation survey.
- Have not previously received this award.
Funding Details
- Amount: $7,500.
- Covers eligible tuition, required fees, books, supplies and course equipment.
- Travel and dissertation expenses are excluded.
- Application fee: $5, nonrefundable.
