CCSG funding can support scientific leadership, shared research resources, administration, strategic planning and evaluation, developmental funding, cancer research training and education coordination, community outreach and engagement, and centralized oversight of clinical research. The overarching goal is to create highly collaborative, interdisciplinary cancer research environments capable of accelerating discovery and translation into improved cancer prevention, diagnosis, and treatment.
