
Healthy After Cancer: Childhood Cancer Survivorship Research Award
The Children’s Cancer Research Fund (CCRF) 2025 Survivorship Award supports research that improves the quality and quantity of life for childhood, adolescent, and young adult cancer survivors. The focus is on interventions that prevent, mitigate, or address late effects of cancer therapy.
Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be based at a U.S. academic, medical, or research institution.

Must be PI-eligible at the sponsoring institution.

U.S. citizenship is not required.

At least 10% effort per year must be dedicated to the award.

Only one application per PI per year is allowed.

NIH R03 or R21 unfunded applications (2021–2024) are eligible if previously scored in the 20th percentile or better (or impact score ≤ 3).
Funding Details

Total support: Up to $125,000 per year

Duration: Up to 2 years

Indirect costs: 10% of direct costs allowed

Travel up to $2,000 per year for conferences

Allowable costs: salary (NIH cap applies), supplies, sub-contracts, equipment, travel
