The ASH Graduate Hematology Award (AGHA) supports doctoral students conducting hematology-focused research and preparing for careers as independent investigators. The program provides two years of financial support for students pursuing PhD-level training and undertaking research in the United States, Canada, or Mexico.
Projects may address basic, translational, patient-oriented clinical, or outcomes-based hematology research. For OncoGrants audiences, the award is particularly relevant to graduate researchers studying hematologic malignancies such as leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, and related blood cancers, although the program also supports non-malignant hematology.
