The CPRIT Clinical Investigator Award FY2027 supports mid-career clinician-scientists with expertise relevant to cancer care who want to expand their clinical cancer research programs.
The award provides protected support for investigators to strengthen their clinical research capabilities while also mentoring early-stage researchers pursuing careers in cancer-focused clinical investigation.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be mid-career clinician-scientists.
- Applicants must have specialty training relevant to the delivery of cancer care.
- The proposed program must focus on clinical cancer research.
- Applicants are expected to devote meaningful professional effort to clinical research.
- Applicants must also contribute to the mentoring of early-stage clinical investigators.
- The applicant and institution must meet CPRIT’s Texas eligibility requirements.
