Funded jointly by the American Skin Association (ASA) and CeraVe, this grant underwrites new or ongoing clinical investigations specifically in melanoma and skin cancer. Preference is given to applicants without prior funding, those in a formative stage of their career, or those undergoing a mid-career research change. No LOI required — direct application submission.
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must:
- Be actively working in areas related to melanoma and skin cancer
- No age requirement; preference given to early-career or mid-career-change investigators
- Endorsed by their department Chair (one endorsement per area per year per Chair)
- Provide a research proposal (≤2 pages) detailing title, purpose, materials, methods, and projected results
Funding Details:
- $15,000 grant award
- Duration: 1 year
- Tuition, travel, salary, and indirect costs are not permitted
