The Children’s Cancer Foundation (CCF) Program Award
The Children’s Cancer Foundation (CCF) Program Award supports non-research initiatives that align with CCF’s mission to fund impactful, locally based programs that benefit pediatric and adolescent oncology populations. These grants fund services, infrastructure, and outreach projects within the Maryland, Washington DC, and Northern Virginia region. CCF encourages creative and meaningful proposals that enhance care and well-being for young cancer patients and their families.
Eligibility Criteria
- Program or project must be based in MD/DC/Northern Virginia
- Must be related to pediatric or adolescent oncology
- Project may be new or ongoing
- Final report with budget, 2–3 photos, and evaluation due within 3 months of project end
- Grant recipients must publicly acknowledge CCF support on social media and publicity materials
Funding Details
- No fixed award cap, but a clear amount must be requested in the proposal
- Funds must be justified and aligned with the project budget
- Funding may not be duplicated by other sources without disclosure
- CCF will consider institutional contributions and other funding sources in their decision
Key Deadlines
- Proposal Deadline: May 4, 2025 by 11:59 PM EST
- Award Recommendations: Late June 2025
- Final Funding Approval: July 2025 (by CCF Board of Directors)
- Notification of Funding: No later than August 2025
- Grant Presentation: November 1, 2025 at the CCF Gala (Martin’s Crosswinds, Greenbelt, MD)
