The Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas (CPRIT) Catalyst Pilot Research Award FY2027 supports innovative cancer research projects that need short-term funding to generate foundational data or explore promising new research directions.
Projects may address any area of cancer research and should have the potential to generate important new insights into cancer etiology, diagnosis, treatment, or prevention.
Eligibility Criteria
- Projects must focus on cancer research.
- New projects and promising new directions arising from previously funded research may be supported.
- Research should be innovative and capable of generating foundational data.
- Applicants must meet CPRIT’s institutional and investigator eligibility requirements in Texas.
- Projects should demonstrate potential to support future competitive peer-reviewed funding.
