The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN) Career Development Award 2027 supports junior faculty conducting innovative pancreatic cancer research and helps early-career investigators establish independent research careers.
The award provides funding for basic, translational, clinical, or epidemiological research projects with direct relevance to pancreatic cancer.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must hold a doctoral degree (MD, PhD, PharmD, or equivalent).
- Applicants must hold a faculty position at the level of assistant professor, instructor, research assistant professor, or equivalent.
- Applicants must have completed their most recent doctoral degree or medical residency within the past 11 years.
- Applicants must work at an academic, medical, or research institution in the United States.
- Applicants must not have previously served as PI on major research awards such as NIH R01 or equivalent.
- Research must focus on pancreatic cancer.
