Older Cancer Patients Quality of Life Grant

This topic supports research to better understand the needs of older cancer patients (65+) and to develop age-sensitive care approaches and tools that improve overall quality of life. The scope highlights heterogeneity in older adults’ functional, cognitive, mental health, frailty, comorbidity, and social needs, as well as their chronic underrepresentation in clinical research.
The aim is to generate evidence that can be implemented in routine treatment and follow-up care across European regions, EU Member States, and Associated Countries.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Applications are submitted via the EU Funding & Tenders Portal under Horizon Europe.
  • Horizon Europe participation is open to legal entities from EU and associated countries, making this a non‑US collaborative funding route.
  • The portal states eligible beneficiaries can include research organisations, public entities, NGOs, and private companies.
  • Topic-specific admissibility and eligibility are governed by the Horizon rules and General Annex B.
