The AACR-Lobular Breast Cancer Alliance Invasive Lobular Carcinoma Research Fellowship supports mentored research focused on invasive lobular carcinoma (ILC). The fellowship is intended to encourage postdoctoral and clinical research fellows to pursue innovative projects directly relevant to ILC and to build a successful research career in the field. Eligible projects may be basic, translational, clinical, or population science-based. The award provides two years of support for salary, benefits, and selected research expenses.
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must:
- Hold a doctoral degree (PhD, MD, MD/PhD, or equivalent)
- Hold a mentored research position as a postdoctoral fellow, clinical research fellow, or equivalent
- Have completed their most recent doctoral degree within the past five years
- Work under the auspices of a mentor at an academic, medical, or research institution anywhere in the world
- Meet AACR Active membership requirements by the application deadline
There are no citizenship or geographic requirements.
