The American Cancer Society (ACS)–Cancer Research UK (CRUK) Biology to Prevention Award 2026 supports collaborative international research aimed at understanding the biological mechanisms that influence cancer risk and translating these discoveries into effective prevention strategies.
The program brings together investigators from the United States and the United Kingdom to study how biological processes contribute to cancer development and how this knowledge can be used to reduce cancer incidence and improve prevention approaches.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applications must include at least one eligible investigator from the United States and one from the United Kingdom.
- The U.S. Principal Investigator must be eligible to apply through the American Cancer Society.
- The UK Principal Investigator must meet Cancer Research UK eligibility requirements.
- Applicants must hold an independent research position at an eligible institution.
- Research must focus on the relationship between cancer biology and prevention.
- Multidisciplinary and collaborative approaches are encouraged.
