ASGE CRC Screening Microgrants Program: Up to $20,000 to Improve Colorectal Cancer Screening in Underserved Populations

Due Date: 10/12/2026

The ASGE CRC Screening Microgrants Program supports quality improvement projects designed to address a critical gap in the colorectal cancer screening continuum: completion of colonoscopy after an abnormal stool-based test (SBT).

Funded through an unrestricted grant from Exact Sciences, now Abbott, the program provides microgrants to GI healthcare teams in the United States serving medically underserved populations. Selected teams will develop and implement systematic, sustainable strategies to improve colonoscopy completion, strengthen collaboration with primary care and population health teams, and advance health equity. asge-crc-migrogrant-application

Funded interventions may include patient navigation programs, open-access colonoscopy workflows, digital outreach tools such as text reminders or AI agents, and multi-component quality improvement frameworks tailored to local patient populations and practice environments.
