The AACR-Novocure Cancer Research Grant

The AACR-Novocure Cancer Research Grant is designed to support independent investigators conducting innovative research on Tumor Treating Fields (TTFields)—a non-invasive cancer therapy using alternating electric fields to disrupt cancer cell division. These grants aim to expand the understanding of TTFields mechanisms and accelerate their integration into cancer treatment strategies. Proposals may be basic or translational, with priority given to projects transitioning TTFields research into in vivo systems or clinical applications.

  • Current AACR grantees may apply only if their current grant ends before December 1, 2025, and final reports are submitted.
  • Employees/subcontractors of U.S. government or private industry cannot apply (but may serve as collaborators without receiving funds).
