ResearcHStart is a paid summer research program for high school students providing cancer/biomedical research exposure, training, and mentored experiences at the University of Chicago.
Eligibility Criteria:
- High school juniors and seniors (two distinct tracks).
- Must be 16 years old by program start.
- Must be enrolled in an Illinois or Indiana high school.
- Additional rules apply by track (Junior vs. Senior) on the program page.
Funding Details:
- Stipend: $3,000.
- Junior Program dates: June 15 – June 26, 2026.
- Senior Program dates: June 15 – July 10, 2026.
Deadline:
- January 19, 2026 (5:00 p.m. CST).
