The California Breast Cancer Research Program (CBCRP) CRC Full Award funds fully developed community-partnered participatory research projects with a strong research plan and supporting preliminary data. CRC Full Awards are designed for well-integrated, experienced teams combining community leadership and academically trained research expertise. Projects should generate results that can reduce breast cancer suffering and improve public health outcomes in California communities.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Community Co-PI and Academic Co-PI as equal partners (CPPR structure required).
- Community Co-PI has strong and significant ties to the community of interest.
- Fully developed research plan with supporting preliminary data.
- Project focuses on breast cancer and aligns with CBCRP Priority Issues.
- Research conducted primarily in California.
- Team includes broader community involvement in implementation and dissemination.
Funding Details:
- Up to USD 600,000 total project direct costs.
- Up to 3 years maximum duration.
- Indirect costs are allowed.
- Indirect cost limits: UC campuses up to 35% MTDC (25% for off-campus); other institutions up to 25% MTDC or negotiated rate (whichever is higher).
