The Breast Cancer Research Foundation and Lobular Breast Cancer Alliance-AACR Career Development Award supports early-career investigators conducting groundbreaking research in invasive lobular carcinoma (ILC). This two-year, USD 150,000 grant aims to accelerate the discovery, development, and application of new strategies to improve the diagnosis, treatment, and outcomes of patients with lobular breast cancer.
Eligibility Criteria:

Must hold a doctoral degree (PhD, MD, MD/PhD, or equivalent) in a related field.

Must not currently be a candidate for another doctoral or professional degree.

Must hold a faculty position (assistant professor, instructor, research assistant professor, or equivalent) by July 1, 2026.

Future positions must be confirmed and not contingent upon receiving this grant.

Must have started the first independent faculty position on or after July 1, 2020.

Must have independent laboratory space confirmed by the host institution.

Must be employed at an academic, medical, or research institution anywhere in the world.

No citizenship or geographic restrictions, but visa status must ensure full completion of the project.

Must be an Active AACR member in good standing or apply by the Letter of Intent (LOI) deadline.
