The AACR–Think Forward Foundation Career Development Award supports early-career researchers conducting impactful work in precision medicine for breast cancer treatment. This program funds innovative studies leveraging genomics, molecular biology, and artificial intelligence to enhance personalized therapies, improve outcomes, and reduce adverse effects.
Eligibility Criteria:

Must hold a faculty position such as assistant professor, instructor, or research assistant professor (or equivalent) by July 1, 2026.

If eligibility is based on a future position, it must be confirmed at submission and cannot be contingent upon receiving the grant.

Must have started their first independent faculty position within the past six years (not before July 1, 2020).

Must have independent laboratory space confirmed by their institution.

Must work at an academic, medical, or research institution anywhere in the world.

No citizenship or geographic restrictions, but applicants must have valid visa status for the entire grant duration.

Must be an Active AACR member in good standing at the time of the Letter of Intent deadline. Nonmembers must apply for membership and obtain a nominator who is an active AACR member.
Funding Details:

Total funding: 300,000 USD.

Grant term: 3 years (starting July 1, 2026).

Funds may be used for salary support, equipment, research supplies, and other project-related expenses.

Indirect costs are permitted.
