NRG Oncology offers several travel award opportunities to support participation in its semiannual meetings. These awards encourage involvement from young investigators, advanced practice providers, clinical research professionals, and active committee members across NRG Oncology, RTOG Foundation, NSABP Foundation, and GOG Foundation. The funding helps cover meeting-related expenses to foster collaboration, mentorship, and research engagement within the oncology community.
Eligibility Criteria:

Open to members of NRG Oncology, RTOG Foundation, NSABP Foundation, or GOG Foundation.

Applicants must be actively engaged with NRG committees, serve as study chairs, investigators, or clinical research professionals.

Each award type has specific priorities (see below).

Previous recipients of Young Investigator or Machtay Travel Awards are not eligible to reapply.
Funding Details:

NRG Clinical Research Professional (CRP) Travel Award: Up to USD 1,100 for airfare, meals, transport, and hotel (2 nights).

NRG Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Travel Award: Up to USD 1,500; recipients must attend the APP breakout session on January 24, 2026, at the NCORP Bootcamp.

NRG Early Career Investigator Travel Award: Up to USD 1,500 for meeting-related expenses.

Machtay Young Investigator Travel Award: Up to USD 1,500 for one young investigator from an NRG member institution.

Sponsor Opportunities: Named travel awards can be established with a minimum USD 20,000 contribution.
