Two-year award for first-, second-, or third-year PhD students in the U.S., Canada, or Mexico to pursue blood science–focused research and build a path toward an academic hematology career.
Eligibility Criteria:

Enrolled in a graduate PhD program and within the first three years.

Project conducted in the contiguous U.S., Canada, or Mexico.

Committed to an investigative career in blood-science research and aligned with HIP goals.
Funding Details:

USD 40,000 per year for two years (total USD 80,000).

Up to 70% may be used for tuition/salary/honorarium; remainder for research, training-related expenses (incl. health insurance), and travel to the ASH annual meeting.
