Translational cancer immunology grants supporting bidirectional lab–clinic research that advances immunotherapy—applying basic science to clinical problems, informing discovery from clinical observations, and improving models for testing and delivery.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Tenure-track assistant professor or higher by award activation (or institutional letter confirming rank by start).

  • No citizenship restrictions; work may be conducted worldwide at non-profit institutions.

  • Not eligible: for-profit institutions.

Funding Details:

  • USD 300,000 over 2 years (indirect costs up to 10% in addition to the award).

  • Possible extension: additional USD 300,000 over 2 years (by invitation, based on progress).

  • Co-funding opportunity with Chordoma Foundation for chordoma-focused projects (models and biospecimens available).

Deadline:

  • Letter Of Intent: December 1 (5:00 p.m. ET).

  • Invited Full Application: March 1 (5:00 p.m. ET).

  • Earliest Award Start: July 1 (awards activate on the first of the month).
