Topic-specific award supporting mid-career physician-scientists to conduct original translational and/or clinical cancer research in areas not currently funded. Highest-scoring applications are funded; donor criteria may match to already fundable proposals.
Eligibility Criteria:

Physician (MD, DO, or international equivalent).

Completed productive post-doctoral/post-fellowship research with evidence of independent, investigator-initiated clinical research capability.

Mid-career: typically 5–10 years from first full-time primary faculty appointment (clinical department) by the application deadline.

ASCO member (or membership application submitted with grant application).

Able to commit 75% full-time effort to research during the award period.

Only one active Conquer Cancer grant at a time and in good standing on any prior awards.
Funding Details:

Total: USD 450,000 over three years (USD 150,000 per year).

2026 dedicated area: ACRA in Breast Cancer Research (two awards to most meritorious applications; see RFP).
