Career-acceleration program selecting 12 early-career MD/PhD scientists (“Sparkies”) to build leadership, mentorship, communication, and collaborative science skills while designing innovative projects in next-gen cellular therapies, T-cell engagers, and combinations. Required in-person retreat Mar 23–25, 2026 (Tucson, AZ) and half-day program at SITC 2026 (Phoenix, AZ).
Eligibility Criteria:

Early-career investigators planning to transition to an independent role in 2–3 years.

Demonstrated background and future commitment to the 2026 topic; prior SITC engagement desirable.

Must attend the full 2.5-day retreat and the SITC 2026 half-day program; past Sparkathon participants are ineligible.

Complimentary registration for Sparkathon and the SITC Spring Scientific (Mar 25–27, 2026) plus lodging reimbursement for program dates; annual-meeting registration not covered. No stipend.
