
AGA–Celltrion Fellowship-to-Faculty Transition Award in Inflammatory Bowel Disease
Two-year transition funding for clinical or postdoctoral fellows to protect research time (≥50%) for clinical/translational IBD studies, preparing for independent careers. One award, USD 130,000 total (USD 65,000/year).
Eligibility Criteria:

MD/PhD (or equivalent) in a clinical or postdoctoral fellow role at a North American institution.

Clinical fellows: in final fellowship year or the year immediately after.

Postdoctoral fellows: ≥4 and <6 years of postdoc at application; actively preparing to seek faculty positions before award end; must outline independence plan.

AGA membership at submission; mentor must be an AGA member.

Not for applicants with a committed faculty position before the start date; not eligible if applying for an AGA RSA in the same cycle.

Exclusively basic research is ineligible.
Funding Details:

USD 130,000 over 2 years (USD 65,000/year).

Allowable: salary/benefits (PI/other personnel), biostatistics/bioinformatics, supplies/equipment, other necessary direct costs.

Not allowed: mentor salary/benefits, travel, indirect costs.

Annual scientific/financial reports; year 2 contingent on satisfactory progress.

Overlap with comparable awards not permitted (see reduction/selection rules).
