
Global Oncology Young Investigator Award
A one-year, $50,000 mentored research grant supporting early-career investigators—both in and outside resource-limited settings—to tackle cancer challenges through innovative, collaborative “reverse-innovation” studies and capacity-building.

Eligibility (PI):

Degree: MD, DO, PhD, MD/PhD, or equivalent doctoral degree

Post-degree: ≤ 10 years since terminal degree (exceptions for international graduates)

Focus: Demonstrated interest in oncology or related science, working in an oncology-relevant setting

Effort: ≥ 60% protected research time (institutional Letter of Support)

ASCO Membership: Applicant must be (or apply to become) an ASCO member (free membership for LMIC physicians)

Contract: Must have a formal appointment with the sponsoring institution
