Childhood Cancer Therapeutic Catalyst

The Childhood Cancer Therapeutic Catalyst accelerates early-stage drug discovery for paediatric cancers by de-risking novel therapeutic opportunities through focused, milestone-driven awards in partnership with Cancer Research Horizons’ Therapeutic Innovation laboratories.

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicant: Established independent or transitioning clinician/non-clinical researcher with a dedicated laboratory and significant postdoctoral experience.
Institution: Any accredited university or research institute worldwide.
Scope: Early drug discovery activities only—target validation, assay/platform development, screening, feasibility studies.

Funding Details:

Amount: Up to 250,000 British Pounds (direct costs)
Duration: Up to 18 months
Use of Funds: Staff salaries, running expenses, outsourced research, plus in-kind support from Therapeutic Innovation.
