
Healthy Longevity Global Grand Challenge (HLGGC) – Catalyst Awards (Singapore)
Singapore’s Ministry of Health partners with the U.S. National Academy of Medicine’s Healthy Longevity Global Grand Challenge to award annual Catalyst grants, seeding bold, early‐stage innovations that extend human health and function as people age.
Eligibility Criteria:

Applicant: Innovators, researchers, startups, clinicians, or multidisciplinary teams based in Singapore (or with a Singapore hub).

Project Focus: Any discipline or life stage, provided the idea aims to improve physical, mental, or social well‐being in ageing populations.

Stage: Early‐stage concepts—proof‐of‐principle not required at submission.

Prior Awards: Previous Singapore Catalyst Awardees (2020–2022) may re‐apply with novel, non-overlapping proposals.
Funding Details:

Catalyst Award: Seed grants (USD 50,000–100,000 equivalent in SGD) to develop transformative ideas in healthy longevity.

Support: Access to the annual Global Innovator Summit, mentorship, and networking with international funders and collaborators.

Award Cycle: Winners join a cohort of global Catalyst Awardees receiving combined funding of over USD 21 million across all rounds.
Deadline & Application Rounds:

Round 6 (Singapore): January 2025 – applications now open; deadline to be announced by MOH.

Award Frequency: One round per year (Rounds 1–5 completed Jan 2020–Mar 2024).
