
Michelson Prizes: Next Generation Grants
The Michelson Prizes: Next Generation Grants provide $150,000 in one-year funding to early-career scientists (≤ 35 years old) pursuing disruptive research in human immunology, vaccine discovery, and immunotherapy for major global diseases. Administered by the Michelson Medical Research Foundation in collaboration with Next Frontier Advisors, these grants aim to overcome critical roadblocks in vaccine development and deepen understanding of key immune processes.
Eligibility Criteria:

Researchers 35 years of age or under at the time of application.

Proposals must focus on human immunology and vaccine research.

Applicants from any related discipline—clinical research, biochemistry, molecular biology, protein engineering, computer science/AI, biophysics, nanotechnology, etc.—are welcome.

Prior track record of innovation and potential for high impact.

Amount: $150,000 CAD per grant.

Duration: 1 year (January 1 – December 31, 2026).
