Funded jointly by the University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine and the Douglas Wright Foundation, this annual $30,000 award supports a resident or fellow in the Department of Medicine to conduct innovative clinical or basic melanoma research. Eligibility Criteria:

Must be a resident or fellow in the University of Toronto Department of Medicine.

Demonstrate interest and capability in melanoma research under the supervision of a Faculty of Medicine advisor.

Funding Details:

Amount: $30,000 CAD, paid as research support (cannot fund applicant or supervisor salary).

Duration: 1 year, with potential extension to a second year pending advisory committee approval.
