
SITC-MRA Women in Melanoma Fellowship Award
The Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer (SITC), in partnership with the Melanoma Research Alliance (MRA), offers the Women in Melanoma Fellowship Award to early-career women faculty conducting cancer immunotherapy research. This two-year award provides $200,000 in direct support to advance melanoma research and foster career development in immuno-oncology.
Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must identify as women and hold an MD, PhD, or MD/PhD.

Currently appointed at the level of Assistant Professor (or equivalent) at an academic institution.

Within four years of beginning their first full-time faculty appointment at the Assistant Professor level.

Must be a SITC member in good standing at time of submission.

Have a pre-arranged fellowship and/or career mentor, with a letter of recommendation from that mentor.

Domestic and international applicants are eligible.
Funding Details:

Total award amount: 200,000 USD over two years.

Funds may be used for salary support, research expenses, and related costs.

Awardees are invited to present their work at an upcoming SITC Annual Meeting and must acknowledge SITC-MRA support in all presentations and publications.
Deadline:
Applications are accepted during an annual six-week submission window. Prospective applicants should refer to the SITC website for the current application opening and closing dates.
