
EHA Junior Research Grant
The European Hematology Association (EHA) Junior Research Grant provides 50,000 EURO per year for three years to talented early-career researchers conducting basic or translational lab-based hematology research—helping them gain leadership experience and progress toward independent group-leader roles .
Eligibility

EHA Membership & Host: Must be an EHA member at an academic research centre (or equivalent) in Europe with departmental and institutional support .

Research Scope: Basic or translational laboratory research in hematology; purely clinical or health-economics projects are ineligible (translational components of clinical trials may qualify if novel).

Career Stage: PhD or PharmD awarded less than four years before the application deadline (extensions available under EHA’s Policy on Life Events).
Funding Details

Amount: 50,000 EURO per year

Duration: Three years

Use of Funds: Direct research costs including consumables, reagents, small equipment, and research-related travel. Overheads are not covered.
