
Lymphoma Research Foundation Postdoctoral Fellowship Grants
The Lymphoma Research Foundation’s Postdoctoral Fellowship Grants support advanced fellows and postdoctoral researchers to conduct hypothesis-driven lymphoma research—spending at least 80% effort on bench, translational, or clinical studies relevant to Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin lymphoma (including CLL) .
Eligibility Criteria:

Degree & Training: MD, PhD, or equivalent; MDs must have completed ≥24 months of fellowship; all applicants ≤72 months post-fellowship/postdoc as of the award start (extensions for major life events allowed).

Career Stage: Advanced fellow or postdoc; no prior faculty appointment before award start.

Institution & Location: Affiliated with a nonprofit academic or research institution in the U.S. or Canada; must be legal to work there for the grant duration (NIH/government employees ineligible).

Sponsor: Secure one primary sponsor (institutional mentor) and up to four associate sponsors; sponsor may support only one applicant per cycle.

Commitment: ≥80% FTE devoted to lymphoma research, with minimal unrelated clinical, teaching, or administrative duties.

Concurrent Funding: May not hold another PI-salary career development award (except NIH T32/K12); total research time across grants ≤100%.

Resubmissions: Previous non-awardees may apply again; past awardees are ineligible except under exceptional circumstances .
Funding Details:

Total Award: US $195,000 over 3 years

Salary Support: US $60,000/year (including fringe)

Incidental Funds: US $5,000/year for supplies or professional development

Allowable Costs: PI salary; research supplies; tuition, registration, travel for courses and meetings.

Exclusions: No institutional overhead; no salary for non-PI personnel; no equipment purchases.
