
MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships 2025
The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Postdoctoral Fellowships (MSCA-PF) fund excellent researchers holding a PhD to acquire new skills through international, interdisciplinary, and inter-sectoral mobility—either within Europe or to/from third countries—and to advance their research careers.
Eligibility Criteria:

Researcher Profile: PhD (or ≥4 years’ full-time research experience), of any nationality.

Mobility Rule:
-
European Fellowships: Researchers may come to Europe from anywhere or move within Europe.

Global Fellowships: European nationals/long-term residents undertake 12–24 months outside Europe, plus a mandatory 12-month return phase to a European host.

Host Organisation: Any academic or non-academic entity in an EU Member State, Horizon Europe Associated Country, or non-associated third country.

Special Streams: Reintegration into Europe, displaced researchers, career restarters.

Euratom Projects: Separate eligibility applies for Euratom areas.

Global Fellowships: 12–24 months outgoing + 12 months return

Costs Covered: Living and mobility allowances, career-exploration allowance, research, training, and networking costs, managerial and overhead contributions per Horizon Europe rules.
