
AACR Immuno-Oncology Research Fellowship
The AACR Immuno-oncology Research Fellowship supports postdoctoral and clinical research fellows for two years of mentored immuno-oncology research, providing funding for salary, benefits, and project-related expenses. The goal is to foster early-career investigators in basic, translational, clinical, or population sciences with direct relevance to immuno-oncology.
Eligibility Criteria:

Doctoral degree (PhD, MD, MD/PhD, or equivalent) conferred on or after November 1, 2020.

Hold (or have firm acceptance for) a postdoctoral fellow, clinical research fellow, or equivalent position by November 1, 2025.

If the position is at a different institution than current one, secure mentor verification from AACR’s Research and Grants Administration Department ([email protected]) before applying.

For medical degree holders, completion of residency or doctoral degree within the past five years—whichever is later.

Conduct research under an academic, medical, or research institution anywhere in the world.

AACR membership in good standing by the application deadline (early-career Associate membership dues waived; nonmembers must secure an AACR member nominator).
Funding Details:

Amount: 130,000 USD total

Term: 2 years (November 1, 2025–October 31, 2027)

Use of Funds: Salary and benefits; up to 20% may be allocated to non-personnel costs (supplies, equipment, publication charges, and other directly related research expenses).
