JSPS Invitational Long-Term Fellowship

This Long-Term Invitational Fellowship supports senior-level researchers with strong academic records to undertake extended collaborative research with Japanese colleagues. Ideal for full professors, associate professors, and research leaders.

Eligibility

  • Citizens or permanent residents of countries with diplomatic ties to Japan

  • Must hold an academic rank equivalent to professor, associate professor, or assistant professor

  • Or have 6+ years of post-PhD research experience

Funding Details

  • Roundtrip airfare (economy class)

  • Monthly stipend: 387,600 Japanese Yen

  • Overseas travel insurance

  • Research support allowance: up to 150,000 Japanese Yen

Duration

2 to 10 months
