
Honours/Masters Scholarships for Aboriginal Students
This Honours/Masters Scholarships for Aboriginal Students supports Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander students undertaking Honours or Masters studies in cancer-related research. It aims to build cancer research capacity among Indigenous scholars and promote equity in the WA research workforce.
Eligibility Criteria:

Must identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander

Must physically reside in Western Australia for at least 80% of the scholarship duration
-
Must be enrolled in an Honours or Masters program at a publicly funded WA Higher Education Institution
-
Research must be linked to an existing Cancer Research Project Grant (CRPG)

Host institution must be an NHMRC Approved Administering Institution in WA
Funding Details:

Up to 60,000 AUD over 2 years
-
At least 50% of the funds must be allocated as a stipend
-
Supports research on cancer causes, diagnosis, treatment, or prevention
