
UICC Technical Fellowships
The UICC Technical Fellowships support short international visits (2 weeks to 2 months) for cancer professionals to gain hands-on training, skills, and knowledge in cancer control. The programme focuses on implementation, translational, and clinical research, and builds capacity through skill transfer to home institutions. Applications are accepted globally, with special language-accessible sub-programs for French-speaking African countries (Bourse pour l’Afrique Francophone) and Latin America (Becas para América Latina).
Eligibility Criteria:

Public health professionals, clinicians, nurses, researchers, pathologists, and administrators in cancer control

Minimum of a Master’s degree or equivalent; MDs must have or be within a year of board certification

At least five years of experience in cancer-related fields

Medical and PhD students are ineligible
-
Must propose visits to institutions with shared language proficiency if applying under the regional sub-programs

4 weeks: USD 3,400

5 weeks: USD 4,000

6 weeks: USD 4,600

7 weeks: USD 5,200

8 weeks: USD 5,800

No additional funding for extensions beyond 2 months
