Cancer Research Fellowships Victoria – Early-Career Fellowship

This fellowship supports early-career researchers undertaking high-quality translational cancer research in Victoria. It aims to improve cancer prevention, detection, treatment, and care, and is intended for researchers who have not previously received significant funding.

Eligibility Criteria:

Early-career researcher
Based in Victoria
No prior significant research funding
Biomedical or Non-Biomedical research streams available
Targeted Biomedical fellowships available for mesothelioma and non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma (especially gastrointestinal subtypes)

Funding Details:

Up to USD 150,000 per year
Maximum duration: 3 years
Total funding: up to USD 450,000

Deadline:

Expression of Interest deadline: 3 June 2025, 5:00 PM AEST
Full applications (by invitation): 4 August – 2 September 2025
