ESMO Clinical Research Fellowship

The ESMO Clinical Research Fellowship supports early-career oncologists in developing and conducting clinical cancer research projects. Hosted at internationally recognized institutions, this one-year program enhances clinical research skills and fosters professional growth through collaboration and mentorship.

Eligibility:

Applicants must:

Be an ESMO member
Be 40 years old or younger at the time of application
Be a medical, radiation, or clinical oncologist engaged in clinical oncology practice or research
Be fluent in English and/or the local language of the host institution

Funding:

EUR 60,000 for a 1-year project
EUR 1,000 to the host institute for administrative costs
Location: Global
Availability: 10 fellowships per year

Deadline:

Application closes: 29 May 2025 at 12:00 AM CEST
Results announced: July 2025
Selected awardees will attend the YO Fellowship Session at ESMO 2025 (congress registration covered)
